THE EUROPEAN SCHOOL CULHAM

Vacancy: Primary School Teacher for the French-speaking Section

The European School Culham caters for children aged nine to eighteen across three language sections: German, English and French. All pupils are taught a second language which may be English, French or German.

Required from 1 st September for the school year 2014/2015: a qualified and experienced Primary School Teacher for a full-time post In the French-speaking section.

Main responsibilities:

  • Class teaching in all subjects.
  • Teaching French as a second language.
  • Working closely with colleagues within and across the three language sections (including
  • planning and assessment).
  • Some break-time supervision.

Desirable: a qualification in Educational Support.

This post is for one academic year.

Part-time positions in the French-speaking section may also become available in Educational Support and Moral Education. If interested, unsuccessful candidates for the full-time post will also be considered for these part-time positions.

  • Salary: £ 39,497 (Gross) per annum.
  • Working hours: 25.5 hours per week.
  • Closing date: Noon on Tuesday 24 th June 2014.
